With the door panel loose, lift up and remove the panel. Make sure you keep your eyes out for an electrical cable connecting the power window/door lock switches to the interior door. Unhook this connection. Next, you should see a plastic shroud. Carefully peel back this shroud. With the shroud peeled back, you can now see the window and regulator.
Reset Procedure 2. If the above reset instructions do not work for your Tahoe, then this alternate method may work. Start your Tahoe. Close all windows and doors. Open the window by pressing and holding the window control switch. check drivers side switch first, thats the "master" in the circuit, and supplies power to the passenger side. not sure if the 3 door ones have a safety cutout switch to disable the passenger switch on the drivers side panel, the 4 door ones here do, to stop kids playing with the windows, grumpy dad in driver seat can disable all the window controls except his own.

Here's what I've done so far: 1. Disconnected the plug to the window regulator and hooked up direct 12V power to the motor. I got nothing which, to me, indicates that the motor is bad. 2. Without a wiring diagram I have no way of telling which wires are the switch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Chuck : This doesn't make sense. Ok plug the connectors back into the switch. Then go to the other connector (the blue on with 8 wires) hook your black lead to a good metal ground then take the red lead and first back probe the connector on the tan/light blue wire on pin 6 and press the drivers window switch to down position and see if you read 12V
